Welcome to My World!

Finding me probably wasn’t easy since I’m not famous or anything – but I’m sure happy you did anyway! My name is Alexis, another diabetic warrior like yourself. I also have parents who worked hard to help if you can relate more to them. Either way, we all have to stick together, and that’s why my website exists.  It’s here to give help and resources for diabetics to use on their own journeys.

Who Am I ?

In summary of my About Us page, I am a brittle type 1 diabetic for 22 years with an A1C of 7.1% for 3 years before and usually around 6.5% now. These are pretty much the recommended goals for most diabetics, but we can get lower (around a 5% A1C).

I am also a complete go-getter and gamer at heart who lives with a vision. My love is to serve the public, diabetics more specifically, by sharing what I’ve learned throughout the course of my own life. I enjoy my volunteering when I can as I continue to work towards my future by taking as many small steps as I can every day, even it’s just 1.

I’m continuing to change the lives of several others like us through the use of this website’s (resources for diabetics), Facebook, and my program, Diabetes Simplified, where I am a personal diabetes coach primarily. If you’re interested in this program, it’s something I’ve put together where I do one to one personal coaching, taking the time to teach people how their conditions can be controlled in simple actionable ways that work for them – not everyone. This program, unlike the book, requires a whole other kind of commitment. All that’s left to say at this point is that if I were talking to you now, you clicked the link, and I would have to “convince” you to go for it, then it’s not for you.

Otherwise, click the links to see what The Diabetic Elite is all about and or get a hold of that free diabetic resource e-book by clicking here!

“l found it very helpful and informative! I was surprised that the information in the e-book was information that l didn’t know which allowed me to learn relevant information on Diabetes.” – Dianne Bartlett, U.K.

“I can’t stop reading your book…It is really describing me and what I need. You are really amazing! The only thing I can say about these books is that they encourage me to be better. You are really amazing! Thank you so much for your help. You really changed my life.” – Marian Sief, Egypt

“I wanted to thank you! I just finished reading your book and I will tell you that I’m ashamed because I was counting carbs all wrong and reading your book helped me understand much better how to do that correctly. I also like the part where you talk about sweets where you say just because you have diabetes that doesn’t mean that you can’t eat candy. We just need to moderate instead.” – Norma Hancock, Texas

It takes a different mindset to be successful in anything; that’s why there’s not a lot of super-duper successful people, because it’s guys I know who may be ten times more talented than me, but they don’t work as hard.” – Rico Love
